Internet - Web Site Development Part II

Description:

 

Web Site Development

ADVISORY: COMSC 030 or prior knowledge using the Internet.

This course covers how to design and upload web pages. Students will learn design and upload procedures form programs such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Composer, Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver, FTP Software and Yahoo Free Web Space. Other topics include: cost of web site domain names, hosting of web sites, listing a web site with search engines, and meta tags. (Half semester class)

This course is required for the College Skills Certificate: Web Design and for the Certificate of Achievement in Computer Science.
