Computer Forensics introduces the student to how the experts implement a comprehensive accident-response plan with a focus on being able to
- detect intruders in computer systems
- discover the intruder's identity
- discover what damage was done.
With high tech crime on the rise, individuals and companies must learn how to protect themselves from intrusions into their computer systems. If damage is done an investigation must be conducted. This course will teach students how to prevent intrusions, make forensic investigations, and set up a comprehensive accident response plan. These skills are in high demand in today's job market.
Students will learn strategies and techniques on how to conduct a forensics investigation using cutting edge technology, specialized software and acquire skills to become part of this emerging, dynamic field. |
