A Certificate of Achievement may be earned by completion of college proficiency requirements (see Competency Requirements) and course requirements. Students should have a 2.0 minimum cumulative grade point average.
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded by the department based on the completion of the Foundation courses (11 units) from Level 1.
After the Foundation courses have been completed, a second Certificate of Completion will be awarded for the completion of the Core Competencies (12 units) from Level 2.
The Certificate of Achievement is achieved when the student completes 10 additional units from any of the specialized areas listed in Level 3 including:
A+ Certification
Computer Programming
Gaming
Internet Web Design
Operating Systems Concepts / Application
Other certificate options are available through Computer Science. Students can receive a certificate by enrolling and completing courses in the following areas:
