LMC has
a program to help students with previous background in the
study of Spanish (in middle school, high school, another school or college)
with an online placement test in Spanish. Participants receive e-mail
notification of which Spanish course they should best enroll in at Los

1. Log on to the Internet site of the placement test from any Internet connected computer and you can take the test in LRC I in the computer lab if you like. It should not take more than 30 minutes.
2. Go to this site http://webcape.byuhtrsc.org?acct=losmedanosand check the list of schools until you click on Los Medanos College .
3. On the next screen, type in:
User name: (losmedanos user)
Password: (mustangs1)
4. Then follow the directions to take the test.
When you have completed the test - print the results and then contact the advisor, Dr. Whitman, in 211B, available daily during posted office hours, by phone at (925) 439-2181 est. 3148, email nwhitman@losmedanos.edu
or take the form to Admissions on the Pittsburg campus to register for the appropriate class.
